It also manufactures and processes food products for sale in its supermarkets and online; and sells fuel through its fuel centers. The company sells its products through its stores, fuel centers, and online platforms. The Kroger Co. was founded in 1883 and is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

British supermarket group Asda has struck a partnership with technology firm Ocado to overhaul its online business across the UK as it seeks to stem market share losses, the companies said on Friday.
